Between Dawn and Dusk: A Prequel, and the Fae King’s Curse double cover reveal, Jamie Schlosser

Titles: Between Dawn and Dusk: A Prequel AND The Fae King's Curse
Series: Between Dawn and Dusk
Author: Jamie Schlosser
Genre: Fantasy Romance
Release Date: April 3, 2020 AND April 17, 2020 Cover Design: Book Cover Kingdom
I’ve got a problem. A big muscly problem, with icy blue eyes, long dark hair, and tight leather pants.
Keryth is the Night Realm king. My father’s greatest enemy. And my fated mate.
It isn’t easy being a fae princess of the Day Realm. Our kingdom has suffered hardships, but if my father won’t approve of the mating bond with Keryth, they’ll be putting another body in a casket—mine. If we’re kept apart, we’ll both die. Not to be dramatic or anything. Destiny just doesn’t like to be denied, and our sanity will wither away if we don’t give in.
Too bad my father doesn’t care about that. His solution is to lock me away forever.
When Keryth comes to rescue me, I know we can take on anything as long as we’re together. But old rivalries die hard, and the past sins of our families come back to haunt us, affecting our future and the ones we love the most.
When I pulled Kirian from the icy waters of the creek behind my house, we were just twelve years old. As he looked in my direction with unseeing lavender eyes, I quickly realized our age was just about the only thing we had in common. He spoke with an accent, he had pointy ears, and he was so beautiful it made my heart ache. Oh, and he claimed to be a fae prince cursed by witches who stole his sight.
I thought he was crazy from hypothermia. Turns out, he wasn’t, and for some reason he keeps coming back. But a day in my world is a year in his. Every time I see him, he’s older. Wiser. Hotter.
Over the past six years, I’ve tried not to fall in love with him because the terms of the curse are clear: If he doesn’t wait for his fated mate in all ways, including an innocent (or not-so-innocent) kiss, he’ll be blind forever.
So when Kirian kisses me and pulls me through the portal to his realm, I make it my mission to do some damage control. It’d be a whole lot easier if he wasn’t determined to marry me... And if someone wasn’t trying to murder me every step of the way.
Jamie Schlosser writes steamy new adult romance and romantic comedy. When she isn't creating perfect book boyfriends, she's a stay-at-home mom to her two wonderful kids. She believes reading is a great escape, otters are the best animal, and nothing is more satisfying than a happily-ever-after ending.

Unexpressed Odds review and release blitz, Kaylee Ryan

This was a solid end to the series. I was a little concerned as I wasn’t really a fan of a few of the books in this series, but it was all good.
I liked the spin on this book but also found there were a few similarities to other books in the series which I wasn’t sold on.
Still, Kent was a great character and I liked how he want over the top.
I didn’t really have many feelings about Delaney. She’s solid, but I would’ve liked to have seen her come to the fore more often.
I also felt as if a family tree for the group would come in handy, even though the other couples weren’t that prevalent.
Still, it’s a solid book, a bonafide stand-alone, so give it a go if it’s your type of thing. 📖📖📖📖

Logan-freaking-Oliver.

Sure the million-dollar pretty boy can play football. At least that’s what the papers lead us to believe. Me though, I’m not so convinced.

Sure he's got a backside you could bounce quarters off, arms you want wrapped around you, dimples you’d drown in and hair you’d sell your mother to pull... but is he a nice guy or has he let fame go to his head?

I wasn’t one of his adoring fans, throwing my granny panties at his feet... that was until I met him and he completely screwed me...

Excerpt

“So, you’re really not coming out with me?” “Not tonight.” “What are you gonna do instead? Sit in your room and hang out with Mrs Palmer?” “Who?” “You know…Mrs Palmer and her five daughters?” Bryce was looking at me like I should know exactly what he was carrying on about. The truth was, I had no fucking idea. He’d completely lost the plot. “Spank the monkey? Flog your log?” Ah, now I knew where he was going with this. Arsehole. “Choke the chicken? Jerkin’ your gherkin?” Holding up my hand, I begged. “Please! Enough. Please stop.” “So touchy. Maybe you should try giving the old slug a tug. You never know, it might relax you. You know, take the edge off. Relieve some of that pent-up stress.”

Author Bio

Rebecca is a clumsy, introverted, bubble bath loving, chocoholic who'd rather read a book than go shopping. And don't even mention shoe shopping!

Rebecca is a lucky girl - one of four kids to school teacher parents. Wife to a football obsessed husband. Mother to a fur-baby who has no idea how big he is. Aunt to the most crazy/adorable little girls. And sister to two very determined sisters and one easy going brother.

Rebecca lives in Canberra Australia and spends way too many hours a day working the day job.

She is a book whore who can easily (and happily) read a book from start to finish in one sitting and spends her spare time writing.

Unbidden review and release blitz, Cala Riley

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Reed, Sage, Keaton, Victoria, and Tinsley. They’re a great cast.
I do think this book was rushed and not fully formed though. Things pop in and out of the book that don’t really feel as if they fully belong. Samhain being the prime example. That idea wasn’t fully fleshed out and came out of the blue. It needed to be more present throughout the whole book to create relevance and impact.
I’m also getting MAJOR vibes of a similar series from a dynamic duo and their paper royal series.

Still, I did love this book, I just wish it was more fully fleshed out. I still say give it a go. 📖📖📖📖

“Reed,” I warn.
“Yes?” His voice is tinged with humor.
“I think your pancakes are burning.”
“That's okay. I made plenty, and I quite like where I am.” He laughs while moving a tiny bit closer, his chest flush with my back as he trails his hands softly down my sides.
“Are you excited to see me, Reed?” I tease while trying to cover up how turned on I am.
“It’s those thigh-high socks. Who knew they could be so sexy?” he teases right back.
“Reed? We’re not doing this,” I warn.
“We will, just not today. But you better get used to the idea of us, Sage, because we’re going to happen,” he states before kissing my neck. He pushes off me and goes back to the pancakes.

Dirty prince review and release blitz, V Darling

I have mixed feelings about this book. At first I didn’t really like it, but by 75% it flipped and it was pretty good.
I liked Lev. I love how steadfast he is, as well as a little evil.
Scout I didn’t like as much. She was a bit of a spoiled brat for most of the book, but then things evened out.
Nav was a bit of a surprise for me, and I liked the twist on things.
This is a pretty solid bully romance. I do think it could be a little fleshed out more but it’s not something that detracts from the book to much.

Give it a go! 📖📖📖📔🖊 (3.75)

Excerpt

“You’re sick. You know that?” But even as I say it, I know we’re both infected, tainted, ailing from the same illness, and neither one of us will do anything to cure it. There is no cure for a love as vicious and cruel as this. There’s only embracing what we are, what we have, and what we’ll do to one another. What we’ll do to see each other fall.
“I want you to leave me alone.” I pant as his hands work my pussy faster and his cock pumps into my ass harder.
“I don’t think that’s true,” he whispers.
I gasp, struggling for breath as I climb closer to climax. “I hate you so much it hurts.”
“I know.” He bites down on my shoulder. The way a beast might bite the neck of his consort as he fucks her and claims her as his.
I always thought of Lev as a big bad wolf so in love with his own solitude—angry and untouchable—but he’s not. He’s a fox, sly and cunning, determined to shred, and tear until there is nothing left.
He groans as he spills inside me, and the sensations push me over the edge. My body clenches tight around him, riding him, milking him, and all the while he fucks me harder through my orgasm.
When the only sound in the room is our labored breaths, and the sweat cools on our bodies, he releases my shoulder and smiles. “The feeling is fucking mutual, Cub.”
