I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this book and chose to review it.
I feel this book was a bit rushed. From the short chapters to the brief sex scenes, everything was too light on detail for me. It's a shame because Illicit had a lot going for it, a great leading man in Carson and drama to boot. I would've loved just a bit of down time to let things breathe and develop. A decent read for me, but not a favourite. 📖📖📖📔
