I really, really, really enjoyed this book! It’s been on my TBR for ages (I initially thought ever the brave was the first book, and is what got my attention!).
I absolutely loved the mix of fantasy and romance here, they’re my two favourite genres and they’re blended perfectly here!
I liked Britta. She’s smart, she’s brave, but she’s still feminine.
I flittered with Cohen, which I think was the author’s point.
Lief is also a great character as well.
One thing I would say is the events are not very complex, but in a way, I kind of like that.
I’m a little annoyed this book isn’t available on kindle, so I’ll have to wait to read the rest of the series, but it is one I’ll continue with! 📖📖📖📖📖
